Muje – Jo Flames (Press release)

Nigerian Christian Contemporary Music singer and songwriter, Jo Flames, just released another highly energetic and beautifully sounding single tiled, Muje. This is coming fifteen months after the release of his last single, ‘Abinal Ajibi’ in October, 2022. “Muje” is an Hausa phrase which literally translates to “let’s go”. The song is basically a call for believers in Christ to go into the world and make disciples. In other words, it is a charge for believers to actively take the Great Commission seriously.

Jo Flames is a talented and anointed Nigerian Gospel singer and songwriter known for his exceptionally beautiful voice. He has been active in the gospel music industry for over a decade, with an album, several singles and several other features to his name. He is signed under Evangel Records.

Talking about his inspiration for Muje, Jo Flames said,

“Jesus’ last words before ascending to Heaven in Matthew 28 tells us a lot about how much He desires for all mankind to hear the Gospel of salvation and be saved through faith in Him. And we all know that a person’s final words echoes his/her heart beat. So this shows us how important this is to Jesus. Also in the book of Acts chapter 1, Jesus said that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on us and we will become His “witnesses”. I was inspired to write this song to encourage believers all over the world to heed to these words of Jesus Christ and allow the Holy Spirit make us witnesses of Christ, the Savior of the world.”

Muje is a beautiful song to listen to. Asides the Biblically sound message it carries, Muje is delivered with top- notch vocals and skillful production. Those log-drums and percussions will definitely get you on your feet and dancing as you listen. The genre of the song is Amapiano and it is scheduled to be released on 14th February, 2024.
