Nigerian gospel singer, Ayokunle and multi-talented rapper, Degeneral are set to release a single titled, Unconditional Love. This song is the first single off their collaborative project, The Calvary Boys EP which is expected to drop later this year.
Unconditional love is song that expresses and appreciates the love of God for his children; a love that is unconditional.
Talking about the song, Ayokunle said,
“Unconditional Love is a song that was born from my personal reflection on the Love of God. It’s a kind of love that is completely different from the selfish love we display as humans. The more I think about it, it blows my mind that God chose to love us even when all we deserve is punishment. It’s inexplicable, it’s unconditional. This song was written to remind us of that love”.
Ayokunle, also known as AyoBeatz, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer. He is passionate about reaching out to the less privileged, especially orphans and making them feel loved. His motivation to do music stems from a deep desire to get believers to depend on God’s word.
Degeneral is a rapper, songwriter, poet and all-time artistic wierdo. With a defined call of Mark 16:15 to his music, he is one to preach Jesus through his sounds. Both Ayokunle and Degeneral have been long term friends and now they are working on a project together.
